Sparkly Dress

Wednesday night was our annual Well/Kellerhals/Mountjoy Christmas gathering. It is a known fact that my Auntie Katie and Auntie Beth dress like they are going out no matter what the occasion. My mommy thought it would be funny if we all put on fancy clothes and surprised the Wells!

Here's the outfit that my mommy and I came up with:

Sparkly shoes and a sparkly dress ( my mommy's tank top!) :)! I looked like a future Miss. America according to my daddy.

The back of my dress was rigged with clear tape around the straps to make my "dress" fit, very classy :)

It cracked us up that the boys got into it! Poppy even wore a tux!

K&B were surprised, and definitely got a kick out of our outfits. They gave some "hard" faces in a picture with my daddy...

but showed their love to us and I think appreciated the fact that we were poking fun at them.

Here's a  picture of the crew minus Big Dave and Susan! (and the boys..they were already too busy playing to be a part of the E! photo shoot....)

We had a fun time, and I stayed up WAY past my bedtime! I hope we play a new trick next year, it was fun!

Twas the Sunday before Christmas...

Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas from Keeley Claus! I've been channeling my inner Santa while taking my bath the last few weeks....

Mommy's been a little under the weather over the past week, so she missed going over to Marmee's house for our annual Christmas cookie making session. She was sad because there were no pics taken (ahem Marmee!), and I had the best time with my Colin, Jakob, and JoJo!

On Sunday Daddy, Colin, and I went to church without mommy. We did manage to take a few pics before leaving though...

Colin and I tried to take a decent picture in front of the tree together, but it was hard...

especially with Sparkey jumping in the picture.

Hey there Henry.... glad you could join us for a family pic~

We just love each other so much, and wanted to show it with a big kiss....it had nothing to do with our Elf Henry watching.... :)

After church we picked up mommy and drove to Dayton to visit Big Granny for Christmas. JoJo and I were obsessed with the oranges!

Instead of taking a serious and sweet picture with big Granny, we took a silly picture!

JoJo wanted to be silly by herself :)

I just love my big brother...if you couldn't tell.

Big Granny's house was fun. I helped Granny open presents, and I was able to eat some super yummy food :)!

The day was lots of fun, and I was WAY tired on the way home. Mommy snapped a picture of Mr. Piggers sleeping on my head while I napped on the way home!

Libby and Bryson came over that night for a spend the night party! We had lots of fun making reindeer food and ornaments!

Mommy even let me shake my own bag and eat it! I LOVE reindeer food :)!

We have continued to have a fun week with family and friends....I hope to blog some more about these memories tomorrow! Love!

Bubba's play

So, I know you're tired of me saying that I'm busy, but it's true! I've been here, there, and everywhere lately! I've also been a little under the weather the last few days. We are hoping that I'm on the upswing, because I really don't want to go back to the doctor this week!

Bubba had a Christmas play at school! Daddy, Marmee, Poppy, and I went (mommy was with Aunt Nita) to support him!

I was excited to read the program and see all the boys and girls who would be participating!

I enjoyed being a ham and keeping those around me entertained while we waited for the program to begin.

Daddy had to walk around the crowd and stick his head out of a side door to get a picture of Colin. I wanted to know where Bubba was during the play, but it was a packed house and super hard to find him!

I'm hoping that I will have some more opportunities to blog while my mommy and daddy are home for Christmas break. Mommy only has ONE more day of work until January :)! Yay!

Henry the elf

Henry the elf has been making some mischief around our house, but occasionally he brings us things for being good. The other day we found him reading some Christmas stories in my dollhouse bookcase with a pair of pjs for Colin and me. I am hoping that Colin and I can stay in line so we get more gifts and nice things, rather than messes to clean up!

We had already planned to take some pictures with our Anita bracelets on that night, so mom said it would be ok for us to take them in our pjs!

I was so excited to wear my bracelet. I kept saying "cheese....bracelet" and holding up my bracelet for the camera.

Dad even set up the tri-pod to take a group shot of us for the arm band slide show. It took FOREVER to set it up and figure out how to do the self timer on the camera. Colin and I would do a lap around the house, sit down and smile, then do another lap while dad figured it all out! We ended up with a decent pic of all of us :)! (Well except Sparky and Piggers).  We love you Aunt 'Nita, and pray for you every day!

Lots :)

I am now a BIG 23 month old. I am talking up a storm and being such a big girl! I pooped in the potty the other day, and every day I wake up saying "poo poo in the potty." I am still learning to let Mommy and Marmee know when I need to use the potty, but I'm trying my best!

I've also learned another new trick-

apparently mommy and daddy don't like this one too much...

Colin's (well, I guess he's mine too) elf Henry came back on Thanksgiving :)! He brought us both an ornament for our trees because he saw us decorating them, how sweet! I can't wait to see the mischief and fun that he brings to our house in December! I will blog about our four Christmas trees soon, maybe next time?

Thanksgiving was different this year. Since Aunt Nita is in the hospital, we only had one Thanksgiving to attend. We went to my Big Granny's house in Dayton. I had fun running about with Miss Bella and playing with everyone at Big Granny's house. Mommy didn't get a ton of pics because the house was packed!

Daddy, Colin, and I got some fresh air before lunch because it was HOT inside Granny's house~

I wasn't feeling 100% ( I went to the doctor on Monday and found out that I had croup, so I was on my third day of steroids and cranky!), and I wasn't eating super well. My first real Thanksgiving meal consisted mostly of rolls and desert :).

Colin and I went back outside to work off our feast. He climbed the big tree and brought me leaves to pay with :).

Thursday night I was soooooo excited to put on some Christmas pj's and to look at the Christmas tree and all the lights! I kept saying "ohhhhh pretty."

Thanksgiving was complete on Sunday with a Woody family Thanksgiving at Shepherd with Anita Bug. We ate some yummy food and played together :)!

Braxton and I had fun playing with his toy puppy dog. I *might* have taken it from him a few times, and it's possible that I ran away with it so no one else could play with it...

Braxton didn't care, because he was busy being the center of attention! Daddy had fun coloring with one of his favorite little guys...

We all had a great day and visit with our favorite patient :)! Aunt Peggy got a group shot, and I would REALLY like to get a copy :)

I have yet another busy week, but I'm enjoying all of my fun activities and adventures!

WHEW...

Let me wrap up my past week as quickly as I can...
Wednesday we met up with my good friend Miss Brittney for a mini photo session. Mommy said she was calling it my 2 yr. session/Christmas card pics. Whatever mom....
Here's a little sneak peak:

Mommy LOVES the pictures! She was so proud of Bubba and me that she gave us each a BIG Lolly :).

We both kind of had it ALL over us by the time we made it home, but it was worth it :).

Thursday, I had another super fun day with my cousin Braxton! I like to mother hen him (mommy says a little too much). He is fun to play with, and he thinks that I'm hilarious! I hope we keep our play dates up!  Mommy took Braxton back to his house and then headed  to Atlanta to spend the night with his mommy (Aunt Nita) Thursday night. I had a spend the night party at my Marmee & Poppy's house!

Mommy had to leave Aunt Nita kind of early on Friday morning so she could come get me and we could head to the Wilderness Resort with my family :).

Colin and Jakob spent most of their time riding down the big water slides, in the wave pools, and shooting hoops in the pool. Jojo and I spent most of our time in the two different kiddie pools with lots of fun toys and places to play.

Mommy only took her camera one time and just took a few pics. She said it was hard to get a lot of good pics because she was busy playing with me and she stayed wet!

Jojo and I would chant "Wanna go to water park" over and over again until someone would take us :). We absolutely LOVED playing in the water (hurry up Summer!).

My favorite things to do were playing on the swings in the water, floating on my belly in the pool, and sliding down the kiddie slide all by myself.

I would climb the stairs, sit down, and slide all by myself over and over and over again! I probably went down this slide over 100 times!
I went down some larger slides on the other kiddie playground (it was REALLY big and had a lot of big kids on it, so I didn't like it as well- plus it dumped a BIG bucket of water over the top of the playground every 5 or 10 minutes. It freaked Joli and me out!).  I didn't like the bigger slides as well because I had to ride on them with an adult. Being the independent thing that I am, I didn't care for that.

I can't wait to go back to the water park again,

but really, I just enjoyed being with my family. We had fun hanging out in the room, and playing with one another.
Joli and I had lots of fun with some Thanksgiving stickers.

We had fun decorating each other's faces....

We also had fun reading books,

and coloring just like we do at home.

Of course the boys kept me entertained the WHOLE weekend, as always. We ran around and around, and enjoyed being silly with one another.

Thank you Marmee and Poppy for our fun weekend get-a-way!
