Kelsey part 2

Saturday morning everyone decided to take a trip to the Zoo! This was my fourth trip to the zoo this year, but I LOVED it!

Jakob has been such a sweet big brother,

and big cousin lately. Jojo and I are lucky to have him in our lives.

This pretty kitty was licking his lips at me. I wonder if he wanted some of my snack or a little taste of me?

I really didn't care, I loved him even if he did want to eat me. We probably stayed here the longest because the two jaguars were being very playful with us and we had them all to ourselves.

We also really enjoyed the "Goodnight Gorillas" as I referred to them. It was their birthday today. We sang happy birthday to them, and watched them open their presents.

I think I was watching them a little to closely, taking notes on how to eat my banana.

I ran to Colin's ball game after my nap and then met up with everyone at Marmee and Poppy's house. Kelsey, Jojo, and I were having fun playing outside and with the water table.

Kelsey decided that she would rather play by herself so she asked me nicely to play somewhere else ( I was later informed that Jojo hit Kelsey back for me :) ).

My sweet Jakob let me play soccer with him, and he loved on me :)

After baths we all perked up and decided to play a friendly game of ring around the rosy.

Ring around the rosy is probably my very favorite thing to play at the moment. Lots to love about it: singing, holding hands, running in a circle, and falling down :)!

The next day we had ball games and a birthday gathering for Kelsey. We went to my Uncle Jake's house to swim and eat pizza and cake/ice cream. The cake and ice cream were both good, but we really liked the watermelon!

Buba had two ball games, so he jumped in the pool to cool off ate a piece of pizza, and then ran back to the ball fields. His team plays in the championship game tonight- good luck Buba!

We miss you already Miss Kelsey! Hope to see you again REAL soon!

My Dad is a Dirtbag....

A Boynton All-Star Dirtbag that is :). He is the best baseball coach in the whole wide world, and I'm not just saying that because he waves at me and talks to be through the fence during the games. My daddy spent most of his Fathers Day being a great dad coaching my big brother Colin for two all-star games.

Colin and Daddy did manage to run over to Jake's house for a quick dip in the pool in between games this afternoon to cool off for a hot second. I decided to swim and stay at Jake's house with my Marmee because my cousins were playing and I was having the best time (more on that in my next Post- Kelsey part 2).

Daddy, I think you are the most wonderful Dirtbag in the whole world. If I could choose any daddy to be my daddy, I would choose you! I love you more than anything in the world! Happy Fathers Day!

Kelsey part 1

My cousin Kelsey is the best (and her mommy Christina is nice too :))! I was sooo excited that she flew in to see me on Thursday! She was a super big girl on the flight (probably because she is a pro), and was in the best mood when she got to Marmee's house.

We instantly bonded over a toy that Poppy showed us, and we stayed tight from that moment on.

Kelsey even came as my visitor to Kindermusik! She had a great time with all of my fun friends!

I even shared my mommy while we were in class!

Thursday afternoon we had plans to swim, but the bottom fell out of the sky and it POURED rain :(! But we still had fun playing and running around with Jakob and Jojo!

We ate dinner at Marmee and Poppey's house, and boy were all the cousins CRAZY! We were all running around having such a fun time together.

Kelsey had a big day on Friday. She woke up early and had her 2 yr. pics taken by Miss Brittany! Mommy helped Kelsey and her mommy during the photo shoot, but I wasn't going to miss out on all the fun so daddy met up with the girls so Kelsey and I could play in the park!

Before any serious playing could be done, Kelsey and I needed our mid morning snack. Can you believe our moms had us in matching outfits?

We had the best time splashing around in the water fountain at the park! I'm not sure if our moms realized just how wet we would get.

My personal favorite thing to do was stand under this lovely elephant and wait for him to drip water on my head.

Kelsey joined in the fun in between running around.

After a fabulous lunch at Chick-fil-a KK and I were tired and ready for a good nap! We woke up to great news- swimming!

luckily the weather was beautiful today, so we had a fun time hanging out together in the pool with our moms (no dads present- except my mommy's dad :) ).

I loved swimming, but I REALLY loved playing with the blocks that are made for the pool. I would gather as many as possible and hold them. I think I held five at a time for a record.

I am having such fun with Kelsey, I can't wait to spend a few more days with her before she leaves on her big airplane.

My new favorite dinner :)

Mommy and daddy had a great time at the beach, even though I wasn't there and they missed me A LOT! Tuesday night when they returned they found Spaghetti from Marmee ready for dinner (my Marmee is ALWAYS thinking!). Mom put some on my tray thinking I would kind of pick at it, but I loved it! I used to not like the texture of noodles, but they sure don't bother me anymore!

I asked for "more" lots, and had a lot of fun eating too :)!

I ended up eating left overs for lunch dinner the next 2 days! Ha! Mom is glad that I am expanding on the things that I will eat, and will continue to offer me whatever she and dad are eating.

I'm staying behind

So my family will be heading out to the beach in the morning without one important thing- ME! Mommy, daddy, Colin, Jake, Jenni, and Jakob are heading to Fort Walton for an extended weekend getaway. Mom didn't want to leave me behind, but EVERYONE insisted that I would not have fun, nor would anyone else. I'm not complaining. You want to know why? I get to stay at the happiest place on earth- my Marmee and Poppy's house!

It's fun because my Marmee lets me do a lot of things that my mom doesn't and she sings silly songs for me to dance to. I was dancing so hard here that my hair bow came out!

Poppy is a lot of fun too! He likes to throw me around, and rock with me.

Mom packed with EVERYTHING in mind, including some new fun things to play with. She only let me take one new thing out of the bag tonight and boy was it fun! She made me credit card sized laminated pictures for "my wallet." I love looking at the pictures on my friends and family members (thanks for the great idea Aunt Chris!)

Mommy is hoping that I will be a little sweetie while she is gone. I've had a bit of a "tude" lately. It seems as though I may be entering the terrible two's a little early. I know that I will be missed a lot by my mommy and daddy, but I hope that they can relax in the sun for a few days while I play!

Love you Momma!
Love you Dadda!
See you real soon!

CHRISSY :)

This is my mommy's friend Chrissy from college! She came to visit me around this exact same time last year. We have both gotten much "bigger" since then :).

And it's not because we've been eating too many Twinkies either! Chrissy is expecting baby Chloe in 3 weeks! Mom and I drove down to Acworth to visit for the afternoon today.

Chrissy has a REALLY BIG dog named Duke. He is about 30 times bigger than Sparky, but a very loving dog. I enjoyed telling him "hi" and petting him. Mom tried to get a picture of the two of us, but we were both too busy.

I climbed Chrissy's stairs about 10 times. Chloe's room is at the top of the stairs, so I would go to her room sit in her chair, and then turn around and come back down over, and over, and over.

Chrissy lives in an adorable neighborhood with an awesome playground and swimming pool. Mom and Chrissy thought it would be a good idea to let me get some energy out before the long car ride home, so we played.

I didn't get into the sand box (and now that I think about it, mom never offered to help me get in), but I picked up some of the sand and played in it.

It was soooo steamy hot and I was sooo tired from only taking a 45 minute nap on the way down that I had a bit of a fit on our walk back to Chrissy's house. I didn't want to leave the fun playground, but mommy insisted. Once I realized how tired I was and how nice the AC felt in mom's car, I relaxed and enjoyed the ride home.

See you soon Chrissy! We can't wait to play with baby Chloe!

I love you...

you love me. We're a happy family :). I love my Barney. My Marmee got him for me at our church consignment sale for $1!! He sings when you squeeze his hand, and his belly lights up and he asks for hugs when you hug him.

Barney is quickly becoming one of my best friends (not close to Piggers, my number 1 guy). I adore giving him hugs and kisses.

Sometimes I try to take care of him as if he were my baby. I think he probably gets thirsty and hungry just like me!

And of course he needs someone to read to him. I need to ensure that his vocabulary grows, and he can comprehend what is being read to him.

Thanks for being such a good friend to me Barney!

Learning to share

Hello. My name is Keeley Mountjoy, and I am learning to share.
Mommy and I have been praying about me learning to share and being sweet to others. I was tested last Saturday with a play date with my little (by 8 wks) cousin Joli.

At first I did not want to share my toys, or my mommy with Jojo, but mommy reminded me to be a good hostess.
So, I shared my ball popping machine with Jojo and she really liked it! I had fun playing with her and letting her hold the balls too!

I showed Joli where my books are, and had fun reading beside her.

No toys were off limits for Joli to play with!

The biggest test came near the end of our date. I'm usually the most stingy with food because it is my favorite thing in the universe. But you know what? Joli wanted to share food and....

I helped feed it to her! It feels good to share with others. I am still working on doing this all the time, but I think I'm getting a good grasp!
