Big Granny's house

Mommy, Marmee, Jojo, and I decided to take a spontaneous trip to Big Granny's house today. Well, Marmee was already going, but our part was spontaneous. Joli and I took our favorite "friends"  to keep us company on the way up.  We also watched The Wiggles and sang along all the way to Granny's.

We were sooo exited to play with all of Granny's "toys" when we got to her house. We especially loved the cat in her living room.  We gave it repeated hugs and kisses.

We also liked playing in Aunt Alyce's room. She has lots of fun things like hair brushes, a blow dryer, and a fun closet :).

I showed Granny my Piggers and my Elmo. She told me that she liked them, but I told her they were mine.  I did let her hold them, but only for a moment.

The weather was absolutely beautiful today! We enjoyed most of our time outside looking for a horsey, swinging and looking for some leaves.

Alyce asked us to raise our hand if we were pretty...... :)

Joli and I were soooooo sweet to each other,

the adults were really getting a kick our of our cuteness.

What can I say? It's just us being our adorable selves.

Love you Granny! Love you Alyce! We hope to see you both REALLY soon!

21 months....oh how the time flies

Sunday was my 21 month birthday! Mommy and Daddy are amazed at what a big girl I am.
  • I've been really into learning my letters lately, I love starfall.com and playing with my magnetic letters on the fridge. At the end of my 20th month I could recognize about 1/2 (or maybe more) of the alphabet. My goal is the have them down pat this month :).
  •  I'm soooo cute saying the blessing, it usually goes something like this "thank you Jesus for our food, our family, and our friends. I love you Jesus. Amen." Oh, and if everyone isn't ready to say it with me I'll call them out.... "COLIN, BLESSING!!!!!"
  • I love counting, especially toes, fingers, and goldfish!
  • I have an obsession with Elmo. I would be perfectly happy watching him all day long, but mommy limits my tv time :(. I also have a singing/dancing Elmo that I love! )
  • I'm getting excited about going to Disney next week. I love "MeeMee Mouse!"
  • I have started getting onto Sparky("No, No Sparky!! NOOOOOOO!!!") when he is scratching at the door, or jumping on someone. Mom thinks she has rubbed off on me.
  • I ask to listen to "sick" on mommy's pandora radio on her phone all the time. I usually want it to go "next" within 10 seconds of the song being played.
  • I am still super lovable and give hugs and kisses to anyone who asks :)
  • I LOVE playing outside, and insist on going anytime we get out of the car. I usually throw a fit when I am not granted this wish.

Here's how I spent my 21st month birthday....

First, I have to say that I've also been a big help to mommy lately. I wipe up my messes, and load and unload my clean dishes from the dishwasher. For this reason mommy lets me invite friends over for fun.

JoJo (and Jakob) spent the night with me for the first time Friday night. We went to Steak-N-Shake, took a bath together, and watched a little Elmo before bed. We are such big girls having spend the night parties. Daddy was out of town with Uncle Jake and some other boys for a boys trip!

Saturday mommy had to get up early to judge a cheerleading competition, so Marmee stayed with Joli, Jakob, and me. We went to Jakob's football game Saturday morning, where he scored two touchdowns and caught some impressive passes. My Nita Bug picked me up for Addi's birthday party on Saturday. Here are some pictures of me before the party. Mommy thinks it's funny that I really don't have a solid smiling face. It's either this:

or the stare. We don't have any pics from the party since mommy and daddy weren't there. I had a great time with my family though!

When mommy picked me up from the church nursery on Sunday, this is what she found (well, kind of. I had my dress on, not my night-night shirt). I had my big bow in too, but you couldn't see my pebbles hair very well.

I left it up until nap time because it kept the hair out of my eyes. I managed to "borrow" Joli's pig again on Saturday. MADE MY WEEKEND :). Mr. and Mrs. Piggers ate every meal with me, and slept with me.

My daddy made it home Sunday night around dinner time. He played with me and gave me my happy bath. I LOVED that he even let me put on bubba's shoes before time to go to bed.

21 months old....

let the good times roll....

When the cat is away....

the mice will play.  And that's just what we did on Saturday while my mommy was judging a cheerleading competition in Cartersville ALL day (she wants me to add that she was, and still is, very sad that she missed such a fun day with me).

My day started with breakfast at Cracker Barrel with my favorite boys, Daddy, Colin, and Jakob. After breakfast we went to the Little General Park and played for a little bit. Do you like my outfit? Daddy and I decided that we would forgo the outfit that mommy picked out for me to wear, and that we would put our own outfit together.....

Jakob and Colin were so nice to me, they played with me and made sure that I was having a fun time.

After the park, we went to my Mommy's school for the Fall Festival. I had a great time playing, and talking daddy into buying me things like balloons and hair bows :).

We all had a great time going down the inflatables :). Daddy had to slide with me, so he couldn't snap a picture of us going down.

I even played with Jojo at the festival!

After the festival, we went home and took naps so we could be well rested for Braxton's first birthday party!

His mommy and daddy planned a super fun birthday party with lots of animals for me to play with :). I showed Braxton how to pet the animals nicely.

The nice man showed me how to touch the duck, and I was in heaven!!

This is how excited I was about the party :)!

Basically all of the animals were super fun to touch and play with. I stayed in the petting zoo from the minute it opened, until they had to pack it up. I was the ONLY child who stayed in the WHOLE time. Here are some more pictures of me having the BEST time with all the animals. It was hard for mommy and me to pick out pictures to share, there were tons of great pictures showing how much fun I had at the party!

Wanna kiss?

Here's our little super star one year old digging into his cake! I think he will like cake as much as I do :).

Braxton decided to smash cake all over, so his mommy decided to give him a bath in the sink :) Happy Birthday precious Braxton! We love you, and can't believe you're already 1!

Girls night, kind of....

My mommy and her two bestest friends have always made time for each other on Friday nights. It was a known fact to everyone that Friday night was Girls Night, no questions asked. Now that Mommy, Jamie, and Anita are ALL mommies, it has become hard for them to keep this ritual alive. So, Friday night mommy invited the girls and the kids over for some play time. Not exactly a GNO, BUT it was fun for my friends to come over and play :).

Mia was the super big girl! She is so sweet to me, I just love her!

Millie is the newest addition to our crew. She is a cubbalicious sweet pea who loves to cuddle.

This picture of Braxton was actually taken a few weekends ago at Adam and Stacia's house, but it is just too cute to not share :). Braxton enjoyed playing with all of my toys,

and mommy thought it was too cute that he liked my baby doll. I know what this little boy needs next Saturday for his first birthday :)!

Here's the whole crew! We were watching Elmo, and Braxton was about to fall over but we're all there!

So mommy, I hope you can have a "real" girls night next week. But, remember that us kids like to tag along too!

Lake Winnie

Monday was a great day with my mommy and daddy! We went to the world famous, well maybe just locally famous Lake Winnepesauka! My Pop Pop grew up enjoying Lake Winnie, and now I get to do the same! I didn't ride the boat chute (this time), but I did enjoy the essence of LW!

The kiddie rides were perfect for me! Mom was a little skeptical of me riding all by my big girl self, but I did just fine! I rode the cars a lot! I think I drove every single car!

The only way my daddy could get me off the cars was a promise to ride the motorcycles!  They were the loudest ride for sure, with screeching horns.

The boat ride was nice and relaxing. I was able to drive the boat, and ring the bell :).

The only bump in the road so to speak would be the lady bug ride. I was one of the first kids on, and it took FOREVER to start the ride. I may have grown a little impatient....

but once the ride started, I was fine. This is my happy face, right?

After riding the kiddie rides over and over again mommy and daddy decided to take me on a few big people rides with them. Dad didn't get a great picture of mom and I on the bumble bees, but we went high in the air (think Dumbo).

Daddy took me on the super fun antique cars! I helped him drive us around at a safe speed. Mom was laughing because we were holding up everyone.

My favorite thing was the carousel ride! Mom and I rode it once while daddy waited in line for the cars, but I told mommy and daddy over and over that I wanted to go back to see the horses. So we made another trip in line.

We ended our day with a nice train ride around the park. We didn't snap a picture on the train.... I'm thinking it was because the three of us were squished on a small bench, or maybe it was because mommy was holding a blue slushy for us to share. She did manage to snap a picture of me waiting like a big girl at the train station!

Now that I know how much fun going to an amusement park can be, I can't wait another minute for Disney World! But I guess I will be waiting for another 31 days.....
